Just like all of us, it turned out that Taylor Swift became a huge fan of The Twilight Film Series back in 2008 when the first movie was released, But unlike the rest of the world she happened to be a world wide known pop superstar and that what provided her with a chance to almost be part of the Series, Why Didn’t it happen ? what made Taylor Swift Wanted To Be In Twilight in the first place ? We Got You The Fully Detailed Story.
During The Director’s appearance on Ashley Greene’s Podcast Chris mentioned the time when Taylor asked to be an extra in the movie. “Taylor Swift and I had the same agent at the time, and he said, ‘Taylor would like to be in this movie, not because of you, but she’s a Twi-hard,'” Chris explained.
His agent at the time said: “She will be someone at the cafeteria, or the diner, or whatever, but she just wants to be in this movie.”
While Chris initially considered the pitch, he says he had to say no, which he now completely regrets even though he had a very good reason for his decision. “The hardest thing for me was to be like, ‘The moment that Taylor Swift walks onto the screen for about five minutes, nobody is going to be able to process anything,'” Chris shared.
But still, Chris confirms that he regrets that decision to this day, “I was like, Wow I could have been, like, hanging out with Taylor Swift, and maybe we could’ve been friends or something.” Chris Said.
Not only does he feel like he missed a chance to work with Taylor, but he also felt like that she was annoyed about the situation.
“She must’ve just been like, Who is this jerk who would say no? But sometimes, you make decisions and you go, This is for the best of the film,” Chris concluded.
